Old post--new Text and diagram

The city is always imagining itself in which hotspots of volcanic activity--intense creativity in the form of world expos, the Olympic games, fairs and competition projects have a transformative affect on the city. These bursts of energy are unsustainable and leave their physical imprint in the form of relic, ruin or apparition.

This weekend I began studying the evolution of connective systems of whire that suggest skeletal volumes. At this point they are not interacting with one another as much as I would like. Speaking with Julie this afternoon, she emphasized the life cycle of these organisms, asked me to further examine the transitional moments or transposition of systems, and what the character of 'build up' of these systems might be: geological? layered?

Where is the point of impact for these new systems in the cycle and its resonance and possibility of creating new systems?

Next step is to introduce more density and specificity in the systems and their dynamic controls, examining the secondary language of the node system and possibly add a surface language.
